It All began as a one-person operation in 1994, founded by Dmitirj Risov, tile installer with over 20 years of experience. After witnessing the environmental impact of traditional construction practices first-hand, We made a pivotal decision to transform Dads trade into family sustainable business.
What started as a small sole trading operation in 1994 has evolved into a specialized eco-friendly tiling service with a mission to change the Irish construction landscape—one tile at a time. While we remain a small, dedicated team, our impact continues to grow as we help homeowners and businesses across Ireland make environmentally responsible choices for their spaces.
Our story
My journey toward sustainability wasn't an overnight transformation. Growing up in a family of traditional tilers, I learned the craft using conventional methods and materials. But as I established my own business, I couldn't ignore the environmental challenges our industry faces—excessive waste, high-VOC adhesives, and imported materials with massive carbon footprints.
The turning point came when my own daughter asked why we couldn't reuse the beautiful tiles we were removing from a renovation project. That simple question sparked a complete rethinking of my approach to the craft I love.
Today, I'm proud that Eco Advanced Tiling represents both my family's tiling heritage and my personal commitment to a more sustainable Ireland. Every project we complete is a step toward the greener future I want for my children and yours.
